KCSO Kigdai Civil Society is non- governmental, non-partisan, nonprofit, impartial, voluntary organization operating in Afghanistan since 2018.
The KCSO was established in April 2018 and is registered as a Civil Society Organization whose aims are to reduce violence against women, Good Governance, peaceful and secure societies and Access to Public Education, Empowerment of women, Advocacy for women.
The organization is registered with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) under the license #: 5888. The formation of KCSO was informed by the need to improve the risk awareness, peace building conflict resolution and prevention of violent extremist and other challenges of socio-economic conditions of the disadvantaged communities members with particular emphasis on youth and villages residents to alleviate the suffering which was on its peak at that time as a result of frequent insecurity shocks and natural disasters and lack of awareness. The CSO also sought to accelerate development of the rural / urban poor areas, reduce poverty, morbidity and mortality rates of women and children.

To work Closely with national and other organization for promoting Public Health services, Education, Protection mainstreaming and Peace & stability in society, advocating for elimination of violence against women, Social Justice and equality and equity.

The KCSO vision is to strive to see a healthy, aware, prosperous and literate society in Afghanistan through providing high quality services in line with the principles and rule of law, social justice, public relief and non-discrimination.
